Extensive in-situ repairs to Gallery 102 in July using specially made tiles from Craven Dunnill Jackfield.

Lovely Church geometric & encaustic tile project

By Mosaic

Holy Trinity Church in Ashford in the Water near Bakewell, Derbyshire, was a lovely small project carried out by us in June. Numerous tiles were missing or damaged and at risk of deteriorating further if not addressed. As well as the obvious areas requiring attention, we also stabilised loose areas of the Chancel, thoroughly cleaned and applied a sympathetic finishing polish treatment.

Not only a lovely project to work on, but also a beautiful area to stay.

Manchester Town Hall

By Mosaic

A very productive year at the fantastic Town Hall project, with our very talented team of up to 10 mosaicists. Highlights this year include meeting or exceeding programme dates while maintaining the same quality of workmanship and attention to detail, two fantastic work placements, one great trainee and Tracey & Neil both winning an awards on site.

Looking forward to progressing our way through the building on the beautiful marble mosaic floors next year and into 2024.
