Norwich Castle Museum – City Coat of Arms

This project started in 2020 with the careful documentation and careful removal of the original 'Coat of Arms' mosaic from the building, then transporting to our workshop for safe storage while the major refurbishment works were carried out by the Main Contractor.

Manchester Town Hall 2022 – 2025

Marble mosaic conservation and restoration works throughout this beautiful building.

The Weston Room, Kings College, London

A large Victorian marble mosaic installation required some sympathetic replacement, many isolated in-situ repairs and stabilising.

Liverpool Biennial - The Invisible Wind Factory Mosaic Project, Wellingborough High Street, Crawley Memorial Park

The Old Admiralty Building, London

We were awarded a large contract to clean, restore and conserve in excess of 4,000m2 of marble mosaic over four floors at The Old Admiralty Building as part of a major refurbishment project for Willmott Dixon.

ENO – The Coliseum London

A beautiful original marble mosaic in the main entrance of the Theatre was discovered under a carpet. Previously covered in latex levelling compound we carefully removed the unsympathetic covering to expose the mosaic, clean and take templates of missing sections which we are to specially fabricate and reinstate at a later date.

Liverpool University

In 2019 we removed a large internal wall mural measuring approximately 15 x 2.5 metres. The project involved the careful recording, full-sized digital cartoons, removal, remounting and reinstating to a new location within the Chadwick Lecture Theatre.

Other Inverness Projects 2019

A mosaic text was discovered during the major refurbishment works and we were awarded the contract to remove, reconstruct and reinstate the 18 linear meters of fine un-glazed ceramic mosaic originally supplied by Craven Dunnill.

A replica of the original marble mosaic. This project received the Sussex Heritage Award.

Private geometric and encaustic tile conservation and restoration projects

Sympathetic reconstruction of missing and damaged sections and where necessary are able to specially manufacture replacements.

Manchester University, Schuster Mosaic Mural, removal and reinstatement.

Mosaic Restoration Co. were contracted to advise how best to relocate a valuable and important original 1960's mosaic.

Blues Kitchen, Camden and Shoreditch, London

The projects involved the design, off site fabrication and installation of the mosaics (outside normal working hours) of both projects in early 2017.

The conservation and reconstruction of a large private residence in Central London.

The reconstruction and installation of three large external wall murals.

Hyde Park Square, London

The mosaic was accurately templated, reconstructed in our workshop using the traditional ‘reverse method’ before installing on site.

Morton Hotel, London

The on site main hotel entrance mosaic installation was completed within two days.

St George’s Chapel, Westminster Cathedral, London

The final phase is due for completion by Summer 2016, ending the extensive three year project.

New Private and Public geometric and encaustic floor tiling projects

A great deal of time and effort is required to accurately set-out and install these individual handmade geometric and encaustic floor tiles.

Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors HQ, London

This prestigious project involved the careful manufacture and reinstatement of large missing areas of mosaic.

St Philip Neri Church. Liverpool

A condition survey was carried out and it was decided to carefully remove the St Philip Medallion.

St Michael’s and All Angels, Aston

By conserving the existing mosaic and reinstating missing sections where necessary the mosaic was restored to its former glory.

Kilworth House Hotel, Leicestershire

Our work to this former large property now a privately owned hotel.
