As part of the potential Transport for Wales, roads and town regeneration scheme, we were invited back in 2024 to carry out a condition survey and accurate record of the ‘Budd Mosaics’, with the assistance of Oliver Budd the original Artist / Mosaicist.
In early 2026 we carried out a sympathetic clean of all of the mosaic elements including the large concrete relief with inset decorative mosaic works, produced and submitted high resolution images, 3D scan and drone survey of the site.
The project is currently in discussion and being carefully considered by the Council and all concerned.
A great example of public realm art installations and really interesting to work on. Looking forward to seeing how the project progresses.
