We were asked back to carry out additional work at this fantastic Church where on removal of the carpets in the side chapels revealed a Cosmati and marble mosaic flooring. A Cosmati floor is very rare in the UK with only a few examples including Westminster Abbey. Bothy Chapels required minimal repairs, consolidation and face-grouting. They were finally sympathetically cleaned then a reversible finishing treatment applied. The Church is certainly worth a visit, not only to see the extensive Venetian glass mosaic wall decoration, but now also the beautiful side Chapel floors.
