We were awarded the tender for the conservation and reinstatement of missing glazed wall tiling to the grand Brandford Forum Corn Exchange building in the centre of the town. Instructed by Spencer Hall Conservation and Hammonds the Main Contractor, our works were carried out in phases during the Spring and Summer of 2025.
19 different moulds were required for the project and in total over 1,200 tiles specially manufactured by Craven Dunnill Jackfield.
In brief the project involved an initial sympathetic clean, consolidation of loose and detached sections, new compatible render applications and the reinstatement of specially made glazed tiles.
