Private Victorian Restoration Project

By Mosaic

Large private Victorian restoration project in Cambridge.

Project included the removal and re-fixing of a large damaged section and the reinstatement of various missing or previous rather unsympathetic repairs. As well as salvaging the original geometric and encaustic tiles where possible, we also used our stocks of salvaged materials and procurement new hand made encaustics from Jackfield Tile Museum.

The project took a week to complete and we were delighted to receive the following testimonial from the Client: –

“The Mosaic Restoration Company are experts in the field of Victorian tiling.  They took great care to understand our needs, worked to a sensible budget, turned up on time, attended planning meetings with our general builder and engineer to make sure the job was properly specified, kept the work space clean and tidy and were a very pleasant and polite team to have on site.  We are delighted with the quality of the restoration work they did for us.”
